The story traces the changes in an unusual relationship between an ambitious Carolina and a mysterious stockbroker Alex, which takes place mostly in Prague, as well as the small Italian coastal town of Vieste, and in London. “The Bitch Diary” is loosely based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Barbara Nesvadbová.
